Temp guage

Has anyone added a temp guage to a 2016 CX5?

Aside from building in your own temp sensor and readout, you can access the temperature through the ODB port. Unfortunately any "permanent" readout devices for this port leave lots to be desired. I researched it a bit when I was seeking a digital MPH readout for my Mazda3.

I am hoping that this is one of the gauges available through the touch panel on the replacement Pioneer stereo using the MaestroRR steering wheel adapter, as it connects to the ODP and allows various gauges to be displayed on-demand.
