Just got my 2025 Premium Plus with Sirius/XM, liked the Premium Plus because of the options over the 2024 Premium I was originally looking at and also wanted Sirius/XM also the Premium had but while at the dealer noticed a few trims with the shark fin antenna but looking at the window sticker of those Sirius/XM is not included. Wondering why Mazda is adding a shark fin antenna that is for Sirius/XM but the radio cannot have it added.

 

Shark fin antenna is for satellite reception … which includes, but is not limited to, Sirius/XM. When you request a remote start on the Mazda app, the command is issued to your car via satellite.

 

I wonder why then how come only a few 2025's come with the shark fin antenna, can ones that don't have it still use remote start from the app.
