My previous CX-5's all were equipped for Sirius radio. For 2024 I believe only the Premium and above trims have Sirius radio antenna.
Is the reason for this that Sirius lowered their compensation to Mazda (presumably because consumers are willing to stream Sirius and other audio thru their phone service provider and don't need a satellite connection) ?

 

Who knows? Only the management knows for sure why they make these changes. Wireless vs wired AA/CP is another one along with wireless charging. It would be nice if we could pick the options we want on any trim level.
