Shout out to Nav Kings
 

Bought a navigation SD card from Nav Kings on eBay for my 2021 CX-5 GT-R. Card arrived in just a couple of days. Downloaded the Mazda Update Toolkit and plugged in the card to update the maps. Got an error message about card not recognized. Quick email off to Nav Kings describing problem and got an immediate response back with advice that the car needs to be driven 63 miles with the SD card installed to sync with the car before it can be used with the toolkit. That's not in the Owners Manual. Of course Mazda doesn't supply the Navigation Manual if you don't buy the nav card from them.

Nav Kings linked me to several Mazda docs that explained the card initiation and map update process and the appropriate user manuals.

Voila, i now have a working navigation system. And 3 years of map updates.

Yes, i found that site after some looking around, thanks. However, it you enter 2021 it doesn't list the CX-5 for some reason.

On eBay for $55.
