Sun exposed leather needs frequent treatments of the proper leather conditioners.
Having had multiple motorcycle jackets, pants and racing suits I know this to be a verifiable fact.
Though it did take me a few years to realize the same applied to my 4-wheel vehicles that had leather seats.
