Resetting the Service Light

I looked in the owner's manual, searched on Google and searched on this forum but I can't find it. How do you reset the service/maintenance light (gas engine; not diesel) for the 2014 MY?

Thanks.

Never mind. I finally found it in the OM.

Hi Chaps,
I've been reading your posts and successfully resolved my DPF blockages and limp mode by using the cable method to force a regeneration. A major breakthrough as limp mode always kicked in when car fully loaded with family in and driving to a holiday destination.

True to form, on Easter break with the family and I've now got a flashing DPF light but no codes or limp mode.
I've changed the oil&filter(c1 grade etc), forced a regen & disconnected the battery but flashing still appears. I have a code reader and no stored codes or MIL light. Based on other posts I'm assuming this is the service indicator.
But despite connecting the cable to the same top right connection, ignition on (but not engine), all doors closed, pressing the accelerator rapidly 5,10 or 20+ times it doesn't reset. No flashing glow plugs here.
I'm assuming I have a good connection as I can force a dpf regeneration. I have a 2.0 diesel Mazda5 Furano 2006 model which would make a great family car if it wasn't for those pesky DPF lights.

Any suggestions as to what I could do differently or could I just continue to drive and ignore the light? Thx 🙂

Harry 28: You're probably not going to get much help on this forum with your issue as this is a mostly US version site and we don't have the diesel. There is one Aussie goes by the name of GrimReaper who frequents this site and he has some diesel knowledge (because they get oil burners there), but I suggest you post your question here Mazda CX-5 and you might get a better response.
