I own a 2021 CX-5 and want to do my own maintenance and repairs. Besides Mazda where can I get shop manual?

That manual is only valid for models up to, but not including engines having Cylinder Deactivation. And the number of CD-related changes is extensive, causing the non-CD manujal to be worse than useless in many cases, by providing information that's incorrect for CD vehicles. I'm not aware of any manuals being currently available for CD Skyactiv, outside of the Mazda service portal, or one of the subscription services.

 

It takes the aftermarket (Haynes and Chilton's) a criminally long time to print repair manuals for Mazdas. No help, I realize, but I understand your frustration. Also with Chilton's, when I've gone to look up a repair, they tell you to take the car to the dealer for the exact thing I wanted to fix, which leaves you wondering why you bought the book.
