I'm having trouble removing the right rear inner tail light assembly. I removed the 2 10mm bolts, electrical connection and the 2 plastic tabs on side of assembly. Used plastic pry levers but no luck in removal. Am I missing a step? 2018 CX5 model. Thanks

 

Make sure you are pulling it straight back

 

Mine is the smaller inner tail light assembly not the outer tail assembly. Thanks

Were you able to figure out how to remove and replace the inner tail light assembly? I need to replace one on my 2019 CX5.
