Old model Mazda 3 (BK spec) had the oil filter access hole miss aligned, they fixed it with the latest Mazda 3 (BL spec). No need to remove the stone tray now.

We just brought the new CX-5 home this weekend, we love it! I do all my own oil changes, but I've scouted the parts places and no one seem to stock 0-20 oil. How about filters? I use NAPA gold or Puroilater.

I recommend only using genuine Mazda oil & oil filters. Mazda spent a lot of money developing the new engines and the correct oil to match.

I agree, more especially the filter, but I know Walmart carries a couple 0-20 options.

0W-20 full synthetic. "Mazda genuine oil is used in your Mazda vehice and 0W-20 lubricant is recommended." Recommended viscosity: SAE 0W-20 "For maintenance service, Mazda recommends Mazda genuine parts and Castrol".
