Had snow last week then it went from -5 to +11 on Monday praying for rain with soap suds. Weird winter.

Actually, I read where he and also the other guy lived, and this is why it is actually more important to at least rinse the vehicle frequent with just plain water from a hose with a controlled sprayer.

Any Professional detail shop will suggest this as well many body shops at least the ones I associate with.

And as for the weather and snow etc... please I am seeing -8*f degree with snow and treated highways and roads (Seirra Mountains Donna and Truckee lake) so I rinse my Mazda off a couple times a week now.

Funny you say that my neighbors think I am nuts. Occasionally when the Mazda or my other vehicles are super dirty from driving the Highway in my last post, if it rains, I use an adapter on my hose the holds soap and will rinse and spray and rinse the sop off with hose pressure and rain water only. LOL

I know my neighbours think i'm crazy when I am out with a garden sprayer pump and a soapy mix of Wash / Wax and water in the driveway or pressure washer and wand in January but it works for me. Curious what soap you are using. I've heard some are mixing Dawn dish soap and others swear by Murphy's Oil Soap but I have stuck with Automotive to save the paint.

lots of pictures as well perhaps other good information on various topics . But the reason I am posting it here for you is if you look through the pictures you WILL laugh your **** off at some of my cleaning wash days
I will get you a list of products I use tomorrow. Please don’t use dish soap or Murphys oil on the your MAZDA for that matter any vehicle ,plane, boat, motorcycle, tractor ,etc….

the picture thread more or less

I use the touchless car wash near me it has an undercarriage spray to remove the various ice melting chemicals and salt they use on the roads here.
Unfortunately, it is inoperable in the abnormal near zero temps we've had this week on the coast.
Will be going today as the temps should be up to near freezing today but then the roads will thaw out.
And add yet another layer of metal dissolving substances will be added as soon as drive out of the car wash parking lot...

Not sure but I would have at least gone back to where you purchased the oil and see if they would extend a courtesy and give you a single QT. Seets happens sometimes with bottling of fluids regarding any products.
So you rattle can painters ever get an empty can of paint. Or how about that mystery can of carboned drink in a 6 or 12 pack that was empty but completely sealed? The list goes on. LOL

Really.............................
