Default OEM HID Ballast upgrade?

Hello.

I have a 2013 CX5 with the tech package that comes standard with 35w HID's.

Is it possible to upgrade the stock ballast to a 55w ballast without damaging the projector housings or affecting the active headlights (they turn with the steering wheel)?

Reason for asking is that I own a window tint business, and one of my services offered is wrapping head and taillights to provide a tinted look.
While the stock 35 HID's still provide ample light after wrapping my headlights, I'd prefer to have them brighter. I'd also like to have them brighter without the tinted wrap film applied.

Obviously, I need my headlights wrapped (as well as my tails) as a simple form of marketing when interacting with customers.

Side note, I service a vehicle customization shop, so the bulbs and ballasts I will install aren't cheap, no name products.

Thank you for your input.

i cant remember at this very moment the exact reasoning.. but i remember when i was replacing my headlight bulbs on my chevy, there were very specific reasons why i was told to not put 55 watt HID bulbs. i think the #1 reason was heat... i think the other one was might have been the affects on other drivers.. but im not sure.. i do remember heat being a issue
