Hi guys,

At august 18, 2017 I got my brand new CX-5 2017 2.2. Diesel 175 HP AUT AWD Grand Touring - type KF.

This is a great car, and i'm very pleased with it.... I only have one small complaint... I'm not impressed with the fuel consumption...

I realize that the diesel engine is not yet introduced on the american market, but hopefully we still have someone here, driving diesel in other countries than the US.

I would like to hear exactly which model you own, and which mileage you have in average...

The Skyactiv 2.2 D 175 HP fuel consumption is influenced by gearbox (AUT or manuel) and AWD. Please state these parameters...

13.5 kms/ litre equals 7.4 ltrs/100kms, which is only 0.4 above the urban fuel economy spec.

 

I get 7.6 (highway)to 8.0 (mixed driving) lit/100km with my petrol model, so diesel should be more efficient than that. I am surprised that it is not and mine is only a few weeks old, i.e. not yet settled in.
