No Individual Tire Pressure Display
I also discovered you can't select radio stations on the steering wheel controls in the CX-5. Unbelievable!! It's buyer beware with Mazda.
Discovering your new 2022 vehicle has a 1989 idiot light vs and individual tire pressure display is on par with discovering your new 2022 vehicle has a 2 barrel carburertor versus fuel injection or discovering your tires are ancient technology bias ply with inner tubes vs radial tire technology. Common garden variety every day run of the mill features normally do not have to be seeked out and confirmed before purchasing todays modern technology vehicles. I am liking my new 2022 CX-5 but, if I purchase another Mazda I will make the dealership point out each and every common feature that are standard issue with 99% of the other mfgr's.

They made changes to the way the steering wheel controls interact with the infotainment system starting with the 21s. In my 19 I could use the steering wheel controls to go up and down my SiriusXM presets. This no longer works in my 21. I have to use the console dial to switch the stations now.
I'm wondering what other simple feature(s) are missing in the vehicle that any main stream vehicle has.

Thats just funny! And also your other analogy about tires and inductive system parts.... LOL
Maybe I should be upset with MAZDA for not having a gas cap door caution light should I forget to close it after fueling..... ROLMAO
Thank for the laugh!
Thats good.... I like members who are defiantly more of a positive human then myself. ^^^ (liked)
The fact that Mazda added individual tire pressure indicators is an indication that many people like you and I, wanted this very basic feature. A vehicle with many tech features would make someone think something so basic would be included.

You sound like one who would be content with hand crank windows, no power steering, no power brakes and having to hang your arm out the window to signal a turn.
How about a heater and A/C? Do we need confirm a Mazda has that too before we purchase their vehicle?
Did Mazda cheat us out of that too??

Now one of my many vehicles I drive a 2018 MAZDA 3 with a simplified tire warning system (I check the tire pressure often with a hyper accurate tire pressure gauge and when the tires are all cold) ROLMAO
