If you want to save some space I'd recommend rthis phone mount that doesn't block anything and works awesome. I would also look at some sun visor organizers too. Both of those things have saved me a lot of room in my car.

 

I don't see a link to the cell pone holder you refrenced. I'll have to revisit sunvisor attachments and see what's new.. Many years ago. I got one for my truck, but it didn't allow the visor to fully close against the roof and would droop, so I took it off. Thanks for the suggestion!
