Default Mazda factory extended warranty ??

I purchased a 22 CX-5 and the dealer did not offer a factory X-tended warranty but only 3rd party . I moved recently and in the new area only found 1 dealer that did sell it - and it is #1 in my state - Wonder why that is -

Interesting, back in 2018 we bought the extended Mazda factory warranty. So they must have outsourced it now or maybe just your dealer is not participating anymore?

I was looking for the same for my 2021 when I purchased it and best I could track down, it was actually outsourced to Nissan. As far as I can tell, there is no Mazda factory extended warranty for any Mazda cars.

vehicle-service-agreements.html

Well as you can see - I finally found it !
Mazda has changed the nomenclature possibly for legal reasons !
Its a service agreement ! Theres three levels - powertrain / Gold / Platinum
I grabbed platinum 10 year 125,000 miles/ $0 deductable
- On breakdowns over 150 mi from my residenve , it covers towing , gas , up to $100/ day for lodging meals -$50 for rental car - transporation / literally everthing except - tires / glass / battery - ///upholstery tears & dents covered ! - and its 100% refundable / at any time -pro-rated - 1x transferable - / 0-$100 deductable -
It requires that maintainence is kept current - so technically they will provide , service / parts for anything that fails - sounds like a warranty , but go figure - not even Mazda cust svcs would tell me about it -?
Its 13 pages - and reads like a solid coverage plan - I can get a %100 refund within 30 days ( -$50 ) if I get cold feet -F&I gave me a good number - If I go to sell -or total it / I get a pro rated refund / or the option to sell it with the car or not if my buyer wont pay my asking $$- I like having it - even if it never gets used

Sorry I was wrong. Offered by Toyota Motor Company.

That is consistent with other things that I was told by Mazda in 2020 when we bought a new car from them. When we bought our 21 CX5, we were surprised that Chase no longer underwrote financing, since they had for years. Instead, the dealer said Toyota Motor Acceptance Corporation had taken over those duties. You can see increasing cooperation between Mazda and Toyota, the latest example being the Alabama plant, and the continuing Toyota Yaris cooperation, where Mazda built the Yaris based on a Mazda 2.

Interesting. BOBM from NJ might disagree with you.

From the brochure
The administrator and obligor of this Vehicle Service Agreement is Toyota Motor Insurance
Services, Inc. In certain states, Toyota Motor Services Company administers Vehicle Service Agreements.
In Florida:
Toyota Motor Insurance Company
P.O. Box 9550
Cedar Rapids, IA 52409
Florida License #02871
Which I read as ALL states are Toyota. Some are "Toyota Motor Insurance Services, Inc", some are "Toyota Motor Services Company", and Florida is "Toyota Motor Insurance Company". ALL Toyota.

Here's the full brochure: https://www.mazdafinancialservices.c...Effective).pdf

I wouldn't be surprised if anything Mazda has some type of Toyota in the paper work. They both just finished building that Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville Alabama where they made the new CX-50 and Toyota Cross from. And since Toyota is more of the power house I'd believe their name is all over.
