Default Infotainment System

Hello all..I own a 2013 CX5 and was told by my dealer that the infotainment unit in the new 2015 was identical to the one in the 2013. The problem I am experiencing is the blue tooth works fine but I am unable to find a setting that will allow me to view text messages from my phone. Apparently the 2015 has this option. I was curious to know if there was possibly a firmware update that could be done on my 2013 that would allow me access to this function. My dealer was trying to contact Head office but I have not had any results so far. I am hoping someone else has had this problem and has found a sollution.

Thnx for your time.

No there isn't. Mazda has made absolutely no effort to offer firmware/software upgrades for the early system. This is one of the biggest gripes of CX-5 owners, along with the fact that all of the systems (including the TomTom navigation) are poorly designed and full of bugs.
