Default Info system rebooting

Hi folks my Info system keeps rebooting multiple times when I start the car, this appears to be worse in colder weather. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would think that a Super Moderator would have better advice.

I do.

See this thread on the other forum.

I work on Mazda's all day every day.

Do you not think I know what I'm saying?

I don't doubt for one second that you know what you're saying, not in the least.

I question why you wouldn't present the OP with a simple fix that he or she may be able to apply themselves as opposed to going through all the trouble of taking the car back to the dealership.

Oh wait, do you work for a dealership? If so, that would certainly explain it...

Did you happen to notice, maybe even read, the link that I posted in #3 above?

I also suspect something with the USB media. I put additional music on my USB stick last weekend, basically maxing it out (had maybe 5MB or so left). Had the infotainment reboot randomly after. Removed a few songs and all settled down. I suspect the software writes maybe a placeholder where it’s at to the media and gags if it can’t. Either way, try removing the media and/or different media.

Thank you all for your support and suggestions. I will give them a try and hopefully this will resolve my issue.
