Hi, I lived in Florida and recently I bought paid in full a 2021 Mazda CX-5 touring with preferred package. I sign some papers the dealer told me the title it will emailed to me in my home address in about a. Month. Is this true since I paid the car in full? I received a receipt for the money that I paid.

Normally what happens is the dealer or the dealers bank has the new car title in their name.
The title then needs to be transferred to you and that is processed by the dealer/bank and the state you purchase it in.
That does take some time to do and can vary by state as not every state follows the same procedures.
I would say a month is about the normal time to get a title for a new car.
And yes, it is normally mailed to you.
While you wait for your title most states/dealers give you temporary registration plates, so you drive your new car.
Before you drive make sure you get vehicle insurance; in most US states it is mandatory and illegal to drive without it.

I'd say that 'normally' it should take around 6 weeks for your title to come in the mail.

That's the normal time but we are not in normal times these days so I wouldn't be surprised for it to take twice as long to reach you.

 

You will receive in the postage mail a hard copy Title document (pink slip). Keep that document in a safe place as you will eventually need it when it comes time to sell or transfer ownership of the vehicle.
