Help Needed: Error Codes
I have a 2012 Mazda CX-5 that i imported from Japan about 9 months ago. When I started yesterday morning, I got engine check light and errors with SCBS, TPMS and traction control warning light is illuminated. Car is almost undriveable. Seems as though it keeps braking and is very jerky (bucking). Car drove issue free the night before. I however did leave a hood lamp on by mistake and i would sometimes get before an error about power management system and the I-Stop would not work...it would be flashing orange. Don't know if problems are related. I took car to the closest technician. He scanned and picked up several codes: U0001, P061B, P0A8D, U0401 and B11D4. He cleared them and might have reset and car drove fine. Used for a few a hours and parked for around 5 hours. When i restarted the problem reoccurred. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Internal control module torque calculation performance problem
DETECTION CONDITION
• Indicates an error occurred in the PCM.
P0A8D is related to low battery voltage.
I would start with disconnecting the battery, getting it fully recharged, properly tested & take it to Mazda for a PCM software update check.

I replaced battery, had PCM updated but problem persists. Any ideas? By the way, i used Forscan and got these results....Used Forscan......

P0102 is MAF, Make sure your airfilter is clean & the lid is properly fitted, give the MAF a clean with MAF cleaner.
B11D4 is one of the Sensors in the windscreen.
I have seen a Few MAF sensors play up in CX-5s.

U0415 Code in 2014 CX-5
About 2 weeks later they said they believed there was a grounding issue caused by a grounding point being painted over in a previous body repair. They cleaned this up and the problem occurred once again (at their shop).
They then said that they had determined the issue was a KD316788ZB, a CONTROL MODULE. POWER STEERING ASSIST MOTOR. I got the part and they replaced it (very expensive). In asking how they figured this out they said it was an ODBC Code U0415 that led them to this. When I look up this code it doesn't seem related, but I honestly don't know what all the KD316788ZB does.
My big concern is that we have the problem identified and fixed. If the issue is not the KD316788ZB, I would like to sell the part I replaced to try to recover some of the financial loss.
Since this user's post showed similar symptoms and since you seemed to have solved this issue and had some knowledge of these codes I thought I'd reach out.

Hey drflanders what ever came of the u0442 code and remaining codes besides mass airflow sensor? Im having the same problem with a 2014 mazda 6, 2.5 liter. It has a p0102 also for MAF but main concern is communication code from PCM which has already been replaced and flashed by dealer. Thanks
