leather vs leatherette when shopping used
Hello,
I'm shopping 15-16 GTs and am trying to find the package details so I will know if what I'm considering is leather or leatherette. (rather than taking the salesperson's word for it)
I'm seeking only a white exterior with tan interior.
If I see a dotted seat texture does that always mean it is leather?
thanks!

The Grand Touring typically has leather. The dotted seat texture also sounds like leather.
I have a 2015 Mazda 3 2.5 Touring with the leatherette. I am extremely happy with the leatherette. After 75,000 miles it still looks brand new and is assumed to be leather by everyone who sees it. I suspect it is holding up much better than leather would have.
Edmunds.com and other sites have information about the features and options of older models in addition to the current models for sale.
