Engine not smooth
 

2014 CX-5 2.5 engine about 8500 miles. Only when engine is cold first start each day engine surges while blue cold lite is on. The foward motion is jerky. The car is parked insde and the location is south Florida very warm. I would llike some info before going to dealer. Thank you jack z.

How long does it feel jerky for? They do have a unusual cold start idle due to the direct injection & wanting to warm up ASAP to beat emissions.

Since you live in the south and our CX5s have about the same mileage I will share that this does not happen with mine.

It happen also to me. I am from Belgium and the weather is colder most of the time, but it do the noise also in summer. My car is parked always underground (home&job). When I asked at service it never reproduce. :(
