how's the stainless steel door sills holding up from ebay? fiance wants to get them for her 2016 cx5. comes with all 4 right?

I didn't get the stainless door guard...my wife liked the looks of these better. Just thought I would show a different option. Matches what we got for the rear bumper.

The stainless sills are holding up well, easy to clean. They come in a set of four for all the doors, but I got a set for the metal part and for the inner plastic sill. So, two sets of four each. The biggest problem I have is getting them to stick to the plastic, the metal is no problem. Silicone is OK, but one keeps coming loose, so I am going to get some automotive urethane adhesive and try that. Those carbon fiber ones that sfd678 shows above might be a better material for the plastic inner sills.

if you can try to keep us updated. we're interested in the inner door sill for the plastic part. i'll go see if i can find anything similar like sfd678 posted. thanks for the reply

If you want something to stick permanently use a caulking tube of Liquid Nails. Will still hold strong when the sun blows up in 5 billion years.
