The dealership wanted $150 to replace my cabin filter in my engine air filter
#11
The dealership lied to me and told me that the dash had to be removed to replace the cabin filter and wanted $89 to replace it. I refused, went home, looked on you tube and found it in the glove box. Bought a filter at the auto parts store for $10. Since then, I look up everything and I don't trust any dealership.

My dealership wanted $70 to replace my cabin filter. I can buy a genuine KD45-61-J6X filter from a Mazda dealership through Amazon for $21.44. I assume the dealership is making money on this, even after shipping so the cost to my dealership must be less than $21.44. Even accounting for time, $70 is a rip-off.

It’s exhilarating. And you’ll know it was done correctly, by someone that loves his/her ride.
