CX5 manual, sometimes soft brake pedal

Hello. I have a 13 CX5 manual. It has 240km on it. Its used up a lot of brakes. Right now, the pedal goes down further than it should, sometimes.. The brakes do work still. I give a slight pump and the pedal is at the proper height. The tech is going to inspect next week. Its not losing any fluid. Fluid has never been changed. Its probably on set #4 of rotors and pads. To me, if the master cylinder was dead, it would always go to the floor. Any ideas as welcomed.

Welcome ot the forum
A guess only..... Booster or brake master cylinder are the normal items going bad by your description. However I would more say the master cylinder.

The fluid is more then likely contaminated but that's is not likely what is causing the brake pedal feel. The bad thing is at 240km without everchanging the brake fluid I would highly recommend that be done ASAP and by a professional that can bleed and reset your ABS properly.

I agree with Cali, booster or master cylinder can be bad and not leak (seals can allow backflow).
Also brake hoses can get worn especially at that mileage.
And while they may not leak the diameter will increases before they leak/break which will use more brake fluid.
Not a lot, but sometimes just enough sometimes to cause your issue.
I had that problem in a Corvette and most of my motorcycles and changed to braided stainless steel lines.
