Cx5 2014 diff coupling failed
Hi
My MAZDA CX-5 Auto KE KE2 2014 4 AWD DIESEL 2.2 litre that has been nothing but trouble.
Mazda Australia has come to the party twice replacing a blown turbo and a partial engine rebuild well outside of warranty period.
Now I've been told my diff and coupling need replacing as the coupling has failed (making a clunking noise when slowing down and turning corners) is not sold separately in Australia.
From what I've discovered so far the Differential was upgraded and the old coupling unit doesn't fit the new diff, so in all there wisdom they stopped making the original electro magnetic coupling unit.
so i have to replace the perfectly good diff so that the new coupling unit will fit.
I thought manufactures were required to make parts for a minimum of 10 years?
The local mazda dealer has asked Mazda again to cover this outside the warranty period.
Now I wait, a new diff in Australia is $9000.
That won't be happening.
Today dashlight came on took to Mazda vacuum pump is failing I believe this may be linked to the oil contamination issue another request to Mazda to cover.
Anyone else experienced these issues.
Mazda has been very good with all the previous issues.
Cheers
