Default Cx-5 spark plugs dealer or auto supply?

Where do you get your spark plugs for your CX5 (mines a 2015), at the Mazda dealership or an auto supply store? I saw on Amazon a place to order some but wasn't sure about it...

I purchase the brand spark plug I like best that is compatible with the OEM from the place I can get the best price.
I won't say which brand I prefer as it will start yet another endless opinion-based thread about spark plugs

I prefer and only buy NGK spark plugs. But thats just me.

Some Mazda's use NGK plugs from Factory, other use Denso.

The NGK plugs used by Mazda have both the NGK part number and Mazda part number on them, they also have a Mazda logo laser etched on the ceramic and a tiny NGK imprint on the steel base.

Default Ngk plugs

Thanks for the info. At a Mazda dealership, the NGK plugs are $48...each! Is that the norm cost? On Amazon, a set of 4 was $45, but I thought that was sketchy.

I had a feeling you'd mention the brand I use for everything.

YUP! NGK for the WIN...

I use them in almost everything except the Race engine or when I track a car. In which case Champion Coppers. Mainly because I will change them a few times during an event for the best times, they are inexpensive, and I can change the gap as per necessity.
But I have tried Champion Copper for a longer mile period in the MAZDA while they seemed to do well I changed back to using NGK. I do miss the day I purchased spark plugs by the pallet and pounds vs priced each or box level. LOL
Buying them even at distributor cost these days...... $$$$$

Spark plugs are cheaper on Amazon. I've also ordered plugs directly from NGK.
.
My 2¢

I am not sure if that is accurate .... you may relook at the quantities. The better prices often times seems to be Rock Auto. Also your local chain store auto parts will often have sales of name brand spark plugs.
You may even be able to use your senior discount, ask them next time!

I'm going to check w NGK and Rock Auto. Maybe one of the local auto supply places, but we are in a rural area. Thanks for the advice.
