Book it in with Mazda.

 

Thank you for that advise, do you know if there is a recall on this or any official policy on warranty repairs.

 

If your in NSW, there is a very good chance of Mazda replacing your engine.

 

We never got my father in law's car fixed.

A couple weeks after I posted this, my mother in law drove into a tree and the car was written off

She was fine, but the Mazda was gonzos

 

Thanks for your response, still working on it we have done a chemical test and there is no exhaust gas in the coolant system any more ideas welcome.

 

I had a similar problem, i changed the AC filter and after that i worked fine.

 

Ive just had an engine issue and I'm in NSW. Van you advise which Mazda service centre would be best to take it to/contact??

 

My 2012 CX5 engine got replaced without any arguments in Qld when I had that problem. Now the coolant bypass is cracked and leaking. It is only made from plastic and Mazda have now replaced them with a metal one.

 

Hi - 2016 CX5, basic, blue coolant light comes on occasionally, sometimes goes to red, then engine balks and jerks. Coolant and trans fluids ok. Lights go off and engine evens out when rpms are above 2500. Thermostat? Water pump? Belt? Transmission? Thanks for your thoughts!.........WCB

 

What engine do you have?
Has it been scanned for fault codes?
Have you tested the thermostat?
Have you tested the water pump?
Have you inspected the belt?
