Default Aftermarket solution for frozen wiper blades?

I had posted last March on an existing thread about problems with my 2018 CX-5 and the inability to keep my front windshield clear in a winter storm, even with brand new (and expensive) wiper blades:

Has anyone had experience with an aftermarket solution to either add a heater to the windshield under the wipers or with different wiper blades? I came across an ad for heated blades that sounds pretty good, but I'm curious if anyone has either tried these or found a different solution?

I've seen several "solutions" but far from perfect. Pulling the blades/arms away from the windshield prior to a snow/storm.
Putting cardboard under the blades the night before. I have, and have used a fabric/vinyl windshield cover that I often forget to
put on. The doors hold it in place. All take work.

Good luck.

I should clarify that I'm not looking to prevent the blades from freezing to my windshield when the car is parked; my issue is ice and snow build-up while driving in a storm, even with the defroster on full blast and after having cleared the windshield before driving. In my opinion this is due to a poor design from Mazda where the wipers sit well below the heated part of the windshield and the defroster is one central vent rather than a series of vents that span the width of the windshield as with other vehicles I've owned on the past.
