Accessory Question

I just purchased a 2019 CX5 Signature and want to buy a set of all weather floor mats. Am I correct in thinking that model years 2017, 2018 and 2019 are all compatible?
Thanks in advance.

Yes it is.

You will save some money with the MaxLiner brand over WeatherTech. MLs are made in USA with lifetime warranty.

You might also be interested to know that mazda shop - a Canadian Mazda Dealer offers premium Mazda mats that you can only get in Canada. They are available for the front (and rear row). These are not necessarily the least expensive - but you will pay no tax and no shipping charges for these. Just be sure to compare with the other options with tax and shipping included. I bought the front row premium all weather mats for $140 USD. WeatherTech front row only with tax and shipping were about equal. I guess I'm a sucker for OEM but these are pretty special - they include the CX-5 label and are not the standard rubber deal.

Look at the Husky X-Act liners. They cover farther up the left footrest than the WT mats do.

I bought Husky liners for my Focus (because they were cheaper). After a couple seasons they started warping and didn't hold their shape on the sides. Note that I only kept them installed ~1/2 the year. When I sold the Focus, I didn't even bother giving them the liners - I put them in the trash. I guess you get what you pay for and I would not buy Husky again. I went with WeatherTech for my new CX-5.

I just picked up a pair of the Weather Techs for the front. I must admit they really fit nice and cover the dead pedal carpet area.

Got lucky and found a local fellow that had a new set and got a good deal.

The Maxspider ones that look like carbon fiber also cover the dead pedal and look to be a good value.

Regards,
Jim
