21 CX 5 CE 2.5 Turbo using/burning oil
Well looks like I got lucky with a oil burner.
Got my first oil change at 2500k to get breakin oil out.
At 5700k my oil is just above the low mark on the dipstick. I told myself not to buy a turbo car again after past experience but was hoping after researching and seeing video on the Mazda turbo system that they got it right.
Should have went with a 2.5 NA like I originally planned until Wife said OH but I like that color and me driving it I said Ok.
So what to do now? Dump this thing or see what fix Mazda comes up with?
No way am I gonna be adding oil in between 5k oil change intervals on a new car.

IF the dealer only put in 5 quarts of oil, the level would be below the FULL mark to begin with.
Driving aggressively on a tight engine could cause oil consumption.
As Chris said, check after the next oil change.
My 2¢

Three of the past four vehicles I’ve owned were turbocharged, all from different manufacturers. None of them used more that a quart of oil every 4000 miles. The problem is not turbocharged engines per se, but rather individual engines regardless of the maker. BTW I am not a timid driver, most would consider me a moderately aggressive driver. With over 30% of new cars sold in the US turbocharged, forced induction is not the problem.
