2019 CX5 2.5T turbo question

Quick question.
In Wisconsin a front license plate is strictly enforced. The new CX5 has the license plate mounted directly in front of the Charge air cooler for the turbo.
I would surmise that this would have an impact of the performance of the turbo; T/F? If so, does anyone have solutions, or more detailed information?

Thank you.

Unless you're tracking your CX5 or climbing a long grade hauling a trailer, I rather doubt it will make much of a difference; the intercooler should be more than large enough.

Unless that license plate is with in millimeters of that intake it will make no measurable difference. Keep in mind this is not a performance-based turbocharger, this is just to enhance the engine Beyond previous year horsepower and torque #'s.
what I mean is, in a joking way ... you won't be seeing g a cx-5 on the next fast n furious movie... lol
also if you think but a turbo does it creates its own velocity. He doesn't rely solely on the air being pushed into the intake it creates it's vacuum .. hell .. if anything that plate might block junk from being sucked up into there .... bugs and so on
