2017 CX-5 Cracked window trim Repair

Hi, I don't know how this happened but noticed my 2017 CX-5 with cracked window trim as pictured below. What's the best way to repair this or is there any concern with water running into the crack?

No repair, part is replaceable.

Any ideas how it is installed? Is is something that can be easily done with a mazda tech.
