2017 CX-5 Aftermarket Audio Issues
 

I have a 2017 Mazda CX-5 touring(no Bose) and I just upgraded my stereo system and I'm having a few issues that I have no idea how to fix. The components are:

Hertz DSK 165.3 - Front
Hertz DCX 165.3 - Rear
Audio Control Lcq1
D4S JD8 4 Channel Amp
Toro Slim 10 Sub
Kicker C Series Amp Kit
Kicker K Series Interconnects

2 major issues I'm having are:

1 - Feedback hiss thats constant, even when no sound is playing or system is muted. Even when I isolate front/back left/right it is still there on all 4 channels. Fairly certain this has something to do with the amp but I have no clue. It is NOT ground noise.

2 - This is the real head scratcher. Every time I turn the car on it seems like random speakers turn on and others don't. Sometimes all 4 work fine, sometimes it's 3 or 2 and sometimes none of them do. I've also had it happen where everything sounds fine, all channels are working, but when I go to isolate one of the front/rear left/right speakers one of the channels cuts out(even though that same speaker was playing when the fade/balance was centered).

​​​​​​I thought it might be and issue with the speaker leads from the head unit going into the line out converter instead of going into a speaker. Because there was no resistance on the line the system thought there was no speaker attached so it cuts off a channel. I bought a set of Audio Control LGD(Load Generation Device) as they are supposed to resolve that type of issue by "fooling" the factory head unit into thinking that factory speakers are still attached. This did nothing, no change whatsoever.

If it was just a single Channel acting up it would be easy to diagnose but with it literally being a different one every time I turn on the car I'm just at a loss. I don't know if the issue is with the stock system screwing up the signal, a bad wiring job, an act of God?

Any ideas what could cause something like this? Anybody run into an issue like this at all? If you have a car like mine and have an aftermarket system installed, did you have any issues with the install? How did you tap into the factory system? Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!
