2017 CX-5 2.2D - Which Oil?
I am confused. My user manual says that my Skyactiv-D 2.2 engine needs 0W-30 or 5W-30 oil. But why are there two different grades? Which one do I choose?
The problem does not stop there. If I go to the UK Mobil Oil website, it recommends two oils - Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 or Mobil Super 3000 Formula V 0W-30. If I go to Castrol's website, the recommendation is Castrol EDGE 0W-30 or Castrol EDGE 5W-30 LL How on earth do I pick the correct engine oil for my car? |

There are dozens of thread topic about oil and what to use. I suggest to use the most available oil in your area that meets Mazda basic requirents |
Until recently, we were using Castrol Edge 5w30 LL at my dealership.
