Oddest thing, bought a used CX-5 from a Hertz Auction. The lane assist didnt work, when I popped off the cover there was no connector present to plug into the camera, the wires had been pulled from the plug and left dangling and the connector surround is gone.

The dealer wants $1800 for a whole new harness. The dealer will not give me a wiring diagram for the camera.

Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for the camera, or is some good soul willing to take pictures of their camera plug (under the rear view mirror in the car.) so I can figure out how to connect the wires?




It appears only four of the pins connect to the camera.

Can someone help a brother out?

 

I wonder what happened to the car that caused this to be unplugged? Maybe a windshield replacement?

 

I would go to the wreckers and ask for a short piece of the wiring loom & the plug off a wreck.

 

I tried to find a local wreck, could not find one.

If someone can take the cover off and take a photo of the wire placement in the plug, I would be super grateful
