Question 2016.5 CX-5: Broken fob! (in a weird way) not sure how to fix it?

Happy New Year everyone!
Thanks in advance for the advice. My wife drove over our fob... not sure HOW... it's a 2016.5 CX-5
The fob still works and the internal key itself seems to be intact, but I can no longer attach the fob to my keyring, therefore I'd like to replace the casing or superglue what I can. However, I'm not sure if it's a good idea or how to go about it. The internal key, which connects to the "ring" under the fob (that attaches to my keyring) is still intact as I said, but the plastic part that holds it broke. See pictures to understand.
Is it possible to repair a fob like this? Can I just buy a new shell case?

Thanks in advance
Buck

You buy new key blades on eBay. Take it to a locksmith and get it cut.

That seems to be exactly what I need. Thank you very much!
