2015 CX5 diesel, does DPF data need to be reset?
G'day,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a DPF/oil counter that needs to be reset after a service on a cx5 2.2 diesel? something the dealer does with their scan tool?
I self service my car and ive noticed around every 10 thousand kms the DPF light will start to flash on the dash. When i put my code reader on it will show no stored or pending codes, but if i reset codes anyway it will kill the light and wont reoccur for another 10000kms or so.
Car has done 180000kms
Cheers.

I'm guessing you need a better scan tool than I have to do this, is there any negative effects other than dpf light flashing that I'm experiencing I should be worried about If the data isn't reset?
Thanks again

Is there any way to access the maintenance settings in the car's infotainment screen or the guage cluster?
I'd love to go to a mazda dealer to get this sorted but the closest is 1600kms away I live very remote
miss the old days, you own something you own and maintain it
