Should i be worried about the transmission in the 2013 cx-5 or were transmission issues with the early models rare? Not sure if this is a vehicle that should be kept long term due to hearing about the bad bearings in early cx-5 transmissions.

 

Unless USA market transmissions aren't built in Japan, they are virtually bullet proof. I'm not aware of bearing issues.
