First wanted to know if anyone knew of an update where i can get the text message feature on my 2013? Now staying on this topic if not can i still update anything myself without taking it to dealer. Ive heard people state when a new phone comes out certain car bluetooths need software updates.

 

There are no updates for the 2013 infotainment system (other than TomTom).

 

Is there a way i can find out when there is and is it something i can do myself if need be?

 

I wouldn't hold my breath. Lots of owners have been lobbying for this for the past year and Mazda seems oblivious to this type of customer support.
