Default Transmission problems?

Picked up a '87 B2000 SE-5 with 178K for a song! Parked for 3-4 years after owner died. Motor not running, trans not working as matter of fact nothing was working. Been working with it for about 2 weeks now! Motor running good (no smoke), trans working now (slave cyl. blown out), A/C working (hood and cold...out of Freon).
Front end will need some attention, sway bar has some bushings missing. Replacing wheel cylinders now, one started to leak after putting about 75 miles on it the first few days on the road. Trans. does everything good BUT clashes shifting into 3rd gear going either way shifting up or gearing down. Thoughts on this transmission?? This is just a project truck to play with! Here is what I found when I drained the transmission fluid!

Small 12mm socket to give you size reference

So drive it and shift to and from 3rd gear at correct rpm and should be ok for a while??
Not worth time and $$ to pull and repair??
my best choice!!
