stupid t-case
Hi, just bought a'90 2600i 4x4 not working sounded like front axles, relised it was the t-case, bought "new" used one at a junk yard($275). pulled mine out chain was so stretched it was rubing on case. OK!! bright idea just change the chain right, well we get it all back together put it in 4 and its the same darn thing a really load clicking sound, the "new" used chain was loads tighter, is it common for the front drive shaft to strip out the t-casesplines?because thats what it looks like if you watch the drive shaft it jumpsback and forth not lots but a little. so im thinking its the splines in the t-case. any ideas?
