remove fuel filter 03 B2300
 

I want to replace the fuel filter on my 03 B2300, but I am having trouble figuring out the clips. The 3 hoses have two green and one orange clip, but I can't see any way to get these off. I bought that Ford fuel filter removal tool, x shaped but I can't see how that would work. I know it can't be this hard.
