Oil Leak in B2200

Good morning folks,

My 18 year old had to buy a truck without fully inspecting the engine or anything else.
He made the mistake of letting his buddies tell him it's a good truck my dad worked on it...

Here is the problem...
He bought a 1990 B2200 converted to propane, 190,000 km on engine, which sat for one year. The first thing he did was get an oil change and check the underside, tires, axles, brakes everything appeared good.
His dad told him since you don't know the vehicle or its history check your oil daily....he decided once again to listen to his buddies and only check it every 100 km.

His next oil check was black oil (after 100 km).....levels ok. He took it for another oil change, drove it home about a 10 minute drive, and his engine was knocking, and half the oil just put in was gone...all over the motor. He discovers a cracked valve cover....
He has been trying to purchase the following parts valve cover, valve cover gasket, rocker assembly and cam rod to take of the top end that ran out of oil.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to where the oil leak might be could he be fortunate enough that the above parts may fix his oil leak problem.

Thank you all in advance.

RE: Oil Leak in B2200

if you ran it out of oil and it's knocking, your engine needs to be rebuilt.
