O/D off light flashing 99 B3000
 

My 99 B3000 has about 94,000 mi. on it. About 6,000 mi. ago my reverse went out. I had the tranny rebuilt and it was fine for a bit. But now, the O/D off light has started flashing and i feel a loss of power. When I push down on the accelarator, I don't get the proper speed and when the light is flashing, it's like I'm severly riding the clutch. It stops if I shut the truck off for a bit, but when I drive for an hour or so or if I go on the highway for 10 min. or so, it starts again. I've seen a lot of posts all over the internet about similar problems w/626's , protege's and ford rangers but not really any w/ the B3000. Any suggestions?

Run it by an Autozone and let them pull the codes,post them and we will have more to go by.
