New clutch on a b2600

Does anyone know the best way to put a new clutch in a 1993 4x4 b2600? as in will it be best for me to move the transfer case and transmission back as one, or take the transfer case off, then the transmission.

if you have the ***** to yank the tranny and tcase together id do it that way but most guys i know cant
