Need help identifying hoses on 1986 B2000

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place, if not I apologize.

I have a friend with a 1986 Mazda B2000 2.0L L4 engine and he has a few hoses that are missing pretty sure a past mechanic was reluctant to reinstall them. We are having a hard time finding them and I was wondering if anyone could identify or even point us in the right direction of where we could buy some. I have a picture posted with the 3 lines circled we are pretty sure that they go to the valve cover but not certain. Thank you for your help.

I have used ones......might be hard to find those hoses, in new condition. They are the hoses for the P.A.I.R. emissions system.

What does P.A.I.R. stand for?

Pulsed Air Injection System......I have no idea why they include the "R" on the acronym for this......maybe its for the Reed Valves that the system uses.....who knows!
The PAIR system was another method of reducing tailpipe emissions, like the Smog Pump systems were.

Is this required for the vehicle to run, i was thinking about going away with the air filter compartment and slapping a cubed filter on top of the carb to increase air flow, will it harm the vehicle if i remove this system?

Welcome to the forum!

No, it will not harm the truck engine if you remove the PAIR system, but it will increase tailpipe emissions. If your not worried about that, then you could remove the system and block off the exhaust ports that will be opened from removing some of those items.......like we do when we switch to a Weber carb setup.

Thank god lmao i have had big things for this and i know my carb needs some adjustments and i figured id do away with the air filter compartment completely to attempt to get the air fuel ratio closer to being right, i dont care much bout emissions and i gotta redo the exhaust anyways so this gives me a reason to
