Lost keys, screwdriver start.
 

Hey all, so I lost the keys to my 2002 mazda b2200. Got the steering lock off and ignition switch out to turn with a screwdriver all. Turn switch everything comes on as usual , turn to start and everything goes dead? Any ideas. I've check batt voltage/connections all fine. Not the there is s chime sounding whenever the ignition is in the off. Can only turn chime off by disconnecting the batt. Any ideas welcome.

2. Did you have the clutch pressed to the floor before attempting to start it?
