RE: little help please???

This likely won't help you, but my '88 B2200 SE is carbureted. And my '88 Mazda Manual only details repair info for carbureted, and Autozone.com only lists fuel injection stuff starting with '89. One way to tell is to lift off the air cleaner and take a look; if it has a mechanical fuel pump under it, then for sure it's carbureted (that should also show you whether it's got carb or not). It might be possible to have electric fuel pump in gas tank though (like for auto transmission, I think) and still be carbureted.

your truck is carburated. As far as the comment cusser said about the its sometimes true that the fuel pump might be either in the tank or a mecahnical pump attatched the the side of the block hitting the cam.I have a 1989 and im pretty sure its the same setup so its carburated and it has amechanical fuel pump.
