Default interchanging gas tanks?

I have a 1989 B2200 short box pick up and I need a new gas tank. I have a 1981 B2000 and a 1979 ford Courier, does anyone know if the gas tanks will work on my 1989 B2200? Or if there is any other tank that will fit?

i would say maybe the same year mpv but those came with a 2.6 litre so i'm not sure.

rockauto.com has them. i don't know if you've got a cab plus manual or auto but the short box tanks are no more than $179 before shipping. that's a far cry from what the ******** at murray's or kragen want.

CSK (Kragens lists tank for '89 standard cab (manual transmission) for $159.

This second link (for a different brand tank) has a click-on to see what other vehicles this tank fits, and your other two are not listed.
