This is a 92 b2200.
Does that look like an original engine? http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4232/imgp0015kp7.jpg |
RE: Identity please *pic*
Looks just like the one in my 89 B2200 except for the fact that mine is carburated.

RE: Identity please *pic*
Thanks. I was reading a bit and everyone was saying that their F2s are carbs. When i looked at mine, it's FI.
Ok, so if i have to swap the 626 motor in here, can i reuse the FI system i have already or will i still have the clearances issues? |

The shortblocks from the 12v 626, MX6, and Ford Probe are almost exactly the same (only difference is accessories) and will go right in. If you wanted to use the 12v head or intake it would need some modifications though. The turbo models had lower compression pistons, I would not use a shortblock from one of those unless you where wanting to run a turbo or where going to rebuild it with higher compression pistons.

im not exactly sure, will the ford probe engine fit the b2200 transmission? Also are the engine mounts the same?
